Sandra Upeslacis' work over the past 20 years has included numerous projects in communications/media/broadcasting in English and French, and recently also in Latvian.  She enjoys juggling many different projects simultaneously and has boundless energy and passion for her work.

Recent work:

A Calgary Economic Development media tour was successfully developed and launched by Sandra in June 2006 in Toronto and Ottawa , in English and French.  The tour included the Mayor of Calgary, West Jet CEO Clive Beddoe, and hundreds of Calgary business people who wanted to build new connections with Ontario businesses.  National media reach was more than 8 million people.

Sandra Upeslacis was a lead organizer for Latvians in the New World, a gala fundraising event held to endow an education grant in the name of Vaira Vike-Freiberga, President of Latvia.  The event raised more money than had any previous fundraiser held in the Latvian community in Toronto , and has secured university grants for post-secondary students in Latvia in perpetuity.
